Instructions	① Introduction, characteristics and uses:
	0Cr18Ni9 (304) is a typical low carbon austenitic stainless steel, corresponding to the US grade 304. The brand is further reduced carbon content on the basis of 1Cr18Ni9 (302), has good processing and molding properties and oxidation resistance, has strong corrosion resistance to oxidizing acids (such as nitric acid), and has certain corrosion resistance to alkali solutions and most organic acids and inorganic acids. It has good welding performance. Austenitic stainless steel cannot be strengthened by heat treatment and can only be strengthened by work hardening.
	0Cr18Ni9 in some standards after 2007, such as GB/T 4240-2009, GB/T 1220-2007, etc., has used the new grade 06Cr19Ni10, but the old grade is still widely used in industrial production. This grade has largely replaced traditional austenitic stainless steel such as 1Cr18Ni9Ti in all walks of life, but 1Cr18Ni9Ti is still used in large quantities in China.
	0Cr18Ni9 is widely used in standard parts, in addition to the production of national standard products, but also the production of some low-strength beacon products, a variety of enterprise standard products more production.
	② Selection suggestions:
	Tensile strength of 500Mpa or 700Mpa above, with oxidation resistance, acid, alkali and salt corrosion resistance, while there is no magnetic requirements, recommended use.
	③ The surface processing type of steel plate and steel strip is shown in the original table 31, and the demander shall specify the surface processing type of steel plate according to the use requirements. For example: 304 1U, 304 1C and so on. 1U- Hot rolling, no heat treatment, no peeling; 1C- Hot rolling, heat treatment, no peeling. After negotiation between the supply and demand parties and indicated in the contract, surface finishing types other than the original table 31 can be provided
	④ The edge state of steel plate and steel strip is classified as: cutting edge -EC; No cutting edge (raw edge) -EM, the buyer can specify the edge state of the steel plate when ordering.
