51CrV4 alloy steel wire has excellent mechanical properties, which are as follows:

Tensile strength: 1274MPa (or 130kgf/mm²), which means that the maximum force that the steel wire can withstand during the tensile process is very large.

Yield strength: 1127MPa (or 115kgf/mm²), indicating that the maximum stress of the wire before the yield phenomenon is very high.

Elongation: 10%, showing good plastic deformation ability.

Hardness: in the state of hot rolling and cold drawing heating treatment, the hardness is not more than 321HB, to ensure the wear resistance of the steel wire in the process of processing and use.

51CrV4 alloy steel wire has good thermal and mechanical properties, it can be processed into various shapes and sizes by cold rolling, hot rolling, quenching and tempering processes to adapt to different production needs. At the same time, its good weldability also makes it excellent in welding processing.
