51CrV4(1.8159) spring steel has good mechanical properties and process properties, high hardenability, adding vanadium to make the steel grain refinement, reduce overheating sensitivity, improve strength and toughness, with high fatigue strength, yield ratio is also high, but poor weldability, cold deformation plasticity is low.
51CrV4 is a higher grade spring steel, used as a large section of high load important springs and operating temperature<300 ℃ valve springs, piston springs, safety valve springs. Standard parts such as coil slotted cylindrical pins can also be manufactured.
51CrV4 corresponds to the German brand 50CrV4 (1.8159) and the French brand 51CrV4
